Summary: This training will guide you through the process needed to activate various automated email responses to orders, autoship, credit memos, etc. It will show you where you may go to modify these emails.
Log into WorldVu Dashboard
- Click on System > Configuration
Enabling the “Sales Emails”
- Click on “Sales Emails” in the left hand menu which is located in the “Sales” section
- On the “Sales Emails” page you can click on the email template available opening the fields.
- Change “Enabled” to “Yes” instead of “No” if not already set to “Yes”
- Click on “Save Config”
Creating/Modifying “Sales Emails”
- Click on System > Transactional Emails
- Click on “Add New Template”
Note: Clicking on “Add New Template” will allow you to modify an existing default template. Once you modify these templates, they will show in the list on the “Transactional Emails” page where you can access them for modification. (Emails not related to Sales may show in other System Configuration menus requiring additional searching. You will need to make sure those emails are enabled in order for them to automatically send when prompted by system actions.)
Creating New Email Templates
- On the “New Email Template” page you can choose a “Template” from the drop down menu.
- Click on “Load Template”
- Provide a “Template Name” and “Template Subject” and modify the “Template Content”.
- Review your modified or new email template by clicking on “Email Template Preview” button on the top of the page.
- Click on “Save Template” if everything is designed and set up as you want for the template.
Modifying Email Templates
- Follow the same bullet points referenced in the New Email Template set up by modifying fields and content as necessary.
- Click on “Save Template” when finished.
